AFERO WORKS is a creative wood carving and traditional handcrafted instruments producing company Established in 2016.

Asamani (Afero) is a Ghanaian musician, composer, and master artisan dedicated to preserving and reimagining African musical traditions. A visionary in both sound and craftsmanship,

he specializes in building traditional African string instruments, including the Seprewa, Kora,Goje,

Kamele Ngoni, and Kologo just to mention few.

In addition to reviving ancestral sounds,

Asamani is also an inventor, having created new chordophones such as the Kafonu (“the talking strings”) and the

Kadanu (“the wisdom strings”) each carrying the spirit and storytelling of African heritage.

Our mobile African traditional theatre offers a practical teaching experience to individuals desirous of learning indigenous African and Ghanaian musical instruments.

We are dedicated in bringing out the best. And each of our works are unique and carefully handcrafted with love.

We also teach both young and old individuals or groups how to play any local / traditional instruments both online or through direct physical contact.

We design to meet the expectation of our clients and/or customers. Both morden and classical designs are a common feature of our work output.
