AFROKIDS FOUNDATION

Afrokids Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated at the re-socialisation of young people (learners) to fully accept and meaningfully express their cultural heritage by incorporating Music, Dance, Drama and Storytelling.

We offer real hope and support for underprivileged children through support schemes and sponsorships to meet requisite demands for accessing facilities towards a dignified life.

Afrokids Foundation focuses on learners at the Basic level of education across Ghana and beyond, by uniting State approved curriculum with models of the Foundation to revive interest and confidence in African Ghanaian cultural values and practices among learners and young people.
Founded on 8th March, 2023, the Foundation has adopted some schools in Accra the capital of Ghana in West Africa under its (Foundation) direct school model to retransmit and impact youngsters with varying aspects of culture.

Mission

To enhance the cultural socialisation of the Ghanaian through effective theatrical productions and practical education for social functioning.

Vision

To deepen the confidence of the Ghanaian/African to fully express ethnic or tribal cultural heritage in the larger society to achieve Ghanaian/African identity and culture preservation.

Aims and Objectives

1. To revive and imbibe in the younger generation traditional Ghanaian and African indigenous music and rhythm

2. Expose young people to the rich variety of African rhythms and instruments.

3. Inspire and develop attraction for and devotion to the spiritual rewards and powers in African music.

4. To preserve African culture and identity.

5. To encourage the return to potent organic health remedies through feeding and application of health remedies using vegetables, fruits and herbs.
